The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Elimination of Consequences of Chornobyl Disaster recommends that the Bill on Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Pension Provision of Persons dismissed from Military Service and some other Persons should be adopted as a Basis

The Bill (Reg. No. 2337) raises the rate of pension for record of service of the participants in liquidation of the disaster at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant during their military service.

The People´s Deputies upheld the motion concerning establishment of a 10-per-cent bonus to the pension for the liquidators of 1 category, and a 5-per-cent bonus for the liquidators of 2 and 3 categories.

A relevant resolution was forwarded to the Committee of the Matters of Pensioners.
