The Bill substantially (by 48,1 %) increases funding of the Ministry for Family, Youth and Sports. However, the People´s Deputies deem necessary to raise funding of particular budgetary programs. The Committee members commented on the situation with the International Children Center "Artek" and Ukrainian Children Center "Moloda Hvardiya", buildings and premises of which are in inadequate technical conditions and need major repairs.
The People´s Deputies also drew attention to inadequate funding of the State Tourism and Resort Service (less than 25 per cent of minimum requirement).
The Committee recommends that the Parliament adopts the Bill as a basis, with due account taken of introduced motions.
