The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Ratification of the Loan Agreement (Project of State Finance Modernization) between Ukraine and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development"

The Loan Agreement (Project of State Finance Modernization) between Ukraine and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development was signed on 25 March 2008 in Kyiv.

The loan in the amount of 50 mln USD is to be used for the development of the State finance administration system of Ukraine and retraining of personnel, including rendering of technical assistance and training software, purchase of computer equipment and a package of applied software.

A relevant Bill was registered at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by Reg. No. 0067.
