The Bill (Reg. No.3062) was elaborated in order to secure realization of regulations of a new version of Forty Guidelines of the Group in charge of development of Financial Actions on Money Laundering Prevention (FATF), adopted at Berlin meeting of the Group in June 2003, the Council of Europe Convention on laundering, search, attachment and confiscation of fraudulent gains, and terrorism funding, and also the Guideline of the European Parliament and the Council 2005/60/EU on prevention of use of financial system with the purpose of money laundering and terrorism funding.
The Bill extends the list of the subjects of initial financial monitoring. It also supplements the list of public bodies in charge of regulation and supervision over such subjects.
