The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Elimination of Consequences of Chornobyl Disaster recommends that the Parliament adopts a Draft Resolution on Urgent Measures to be taken in order to preserve Territorial Integrity of the National M.M.Hryshko Botanic Garden under the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

According to the Committee members, the Draft Resolution (Reg. No. 2455) aims "at protection of a unique collection of the National M.M.Hryshko Botanic Garden, and envisages establishment of its restricted area".

Due to the Committee members, "construction of various buildings and conduct of economic activity endangers implementation of the basic tasks of the park related to the preservation of collection of plants, etc".
