Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, deems necessary to enhance management of the medical sector, esp. administration of financial relations.
On Saturday, A.Yatseniuk attended a press conference held within the scope of the forum "European Strategy of Yalta. 5th Yalta Annual Meeting". Inter alia, he stated: "There is a grave problem in the field of medical sector financing: the more funds are allocated, the lower the standards of services are".
According to A.Yatseniuk, the level of medical sector financing is one of the highest in the government-financed sector, and is constantly increasing. However, it is only expenditures for remuneration of labour of the medical personnel that raise.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stated that the Bill on amendments to the State Budget for the current year envisages funds to be allocated for purchase of necessary equipment, and implementation of several programs concerning purchase of certain medicine for the low-income sections of the population.
