Dear Compatriots!
I sincerely congratulate you on the Day of the Constitution of Ukraine!
Today we celebrate the 12th anniversary of adoption of the Fundamental Law. Our State elaborated the Constitution that should unite the society, contribute to economic advancement, grant the opportunity for personal development, and secure decent living for every citizen.
Lately, there was a great deal of talk about the alteration of the Fundamental Law. The politicians exploit the Constitutional reform as a weapon in the political struggle. However, the Constitution is a document of the nation, not politicians.
Ukraine has no need in a new Constitution. What is at issue is only modification of the Fundamental Law. Today we should learn to respect and implement the effective Constitution!
Let implementation and observance of the Constitution be the heart of democracy in our State from now on!
