The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Draft Labour Code of Ukraine at the First Reading

The Bill (Reg. No.1108) defines basic principles and mechanisms of realization of workers´ labour rights and safeguards; envisages creation of proper labour conditions, and aims at protection of interests of workers and employers under conditions of market economy and with due account taken of international legal documents on labour.
