A.Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, attended the meeting of the National Union "Civil Parliament of Ukrainian Women".
The attendants of the meeting dwelled upon social and political aspects of life of Ukrainian society. Inter alia, they deem necessary to consolidate and expand gender policy in Ukraine, refuse from the quota principle as regards women´s participation in the State building, attract civil society to the political activity, employ professional approach to the public monitoring, alter reforming of social policy.
A.Yatseniuk also called for establishing a powerful women´s national organization that could become a member of the Women´s World Organization.
