Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, is concerned with efficient activity of entire Ukrainian parliament, not merely its part .
Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, insists that the Bill "On Internal and Foreign Policy till Year 2010" should include a number of fundamental points. The said Bill was discussed and endorsed by all the attendants of the meeting of the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Prime-Minister of Ukraine and the leaders of parliamentary factions of the "Our Ukraine People´s Self-Defence" Bloc and the BYuT Bloc held on Tuesday.
«It should become a national Action Plan till Year 2010 that will consolidate all the parliamentary Factions and will not include any significant political issue", - stated the leader of Ukrainian Parliament.
The Bill covers key macroeconomic issues concerning reduction of annual rate of inflation, increase of Gross Domestic Product, reduction in the budgeted deficit. "The said document should for the first time in Ukraine introduce inflation targeting and definite characteristics of inflation to be reached by the country," stated A.Yatseniuk.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also deems necessary to establish social standards with specific data and particular stages of their achievement.
Another point in the Action Plan till Year 2010 refers to the holding of "Euro-2012" in Ukraine.
A.Yatseniuk believes that the said Bill should include regulations appertaining to the field of national security and defence of Ukraine, esp. regarding enhancement of fighting capacity of the Armed Forces, transition of the army to the contract service, and provision of social safeguards for the military servants and their families.
The said Bill also envisages other actions necessary for stable development of the State and consolidation around the main national priority of a powerful and democratic country.
