The Parties discussed development of bilateral relations and prospects of cooperation aimed at support and enhancement of the inter-parliamentary dialogue between the Hashemite Kingdom and Ukraine.
The Committee Chairman informed the Consultant of Cultural Affairs on creation of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Deputy Group on Inter-Parliamentary Liaison with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He also expressed his willingness to promote cooperation between the universities within the scope of student exchange programs.
O.Bilorus stated that the Committee recommended that The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ratified the Convention between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan regarding Prevention of Double Taxation, Income and Capital Tax Evasion, and the Protocol to the Convention.
The Parties also discussed the issues concerning opening of the embassy of the Kingdom of Jordan in Ukraine, which will facilitate further development of bilateral relations, especially in the humanitarian and tourist fields.
