The Parties emphasized that rewarding cooperation between the Committee and the National Academy of Sciences is a pledge of enhancement of competitive ability of national economy and economic development of Ukraine.
However, a number of issues is still to be settled. Thus, insufficient funding of science results in disinterestedness of young people in work at the scientific establishments. In order to attract young personnel to the scientific activity, it is necessary to raise wages and provide housing.
The Parties deem necessary to create favourable conditions for attraction of property capacity of the National Academy of Sciences to the implementation of innovation projects.
The Parties also discussed international cooperation at the parliamentary level with Germany and Russia regarding scientific and technical development.
