The Committee on Science and Education upholds the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On the List of Objects of Public Property Right not liable to Privatization" (re OJSC "Scientific Research Institute of Electro Mechanical Instruments")

The Bill (Reg. No. 2217) provides for inclusion of public-owned shares in the statute fund of OJSC "Scientific Research Institute of Electro Mechanical Instruments" to the list of objects of public property right not liable to privatization.

The Committee members have stressed that the need for enactment of the Bill is conditioned by this enterprise´s strategic importance for national economy and security and belongs to enterprises of the defense industry.
