The attendants of the meeting discussed conditions and prospects of introduction of modern information technologies into the banking sector. Ukrainian banks facilitate introduction of card technologies in order to extend the ratio of bank transfers and improve the quality of service. Both cards of international payment systems, and cards of the National system of electronic mass payments are used in Ukraine.
However, integration of national infrastructure into the world dimension is to be attended by coordination of terms in the field of information technologies. Due to non-coordination of terminology, several Ukrainian terms define one internationally used term.
The Committee recommends that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine secures sufficient funding of activities aimed at coordination of international standards.
