The Bill (Reg. No.2158) "offers clear-cut definition of property rights of the members of housing construction (housing), holiday village and garage cooperatives". The Bill aims at protection of property rights.
Pursuant to the Bill, "a member of a housing construction (housing), holiday village, garage or other cooperative has a right of ownership and use, and, due to the consent of the cooperative, - the right of disposal of an apartment, holiday village, garage, other building or premises, provided it is not paid off".
The Committee on Economic Policy recommends that the Parliament adopts as a basis the Bill on Amendments to Article 19 of the Law "On Cooperatives".
