The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Elimination of Consequences of Chornobyl Disaster upholds the Bill on Amendments to the Land and Forest Codes of Ukraine regarding Preservation of Forests

The Bill (Reg. No.2463) enhances legislation in the field of regulating land and forest relations, and restricts alienation of land forest plots for non-forestry needs.

Pursuant to the Bill, the Cabinet of Ministers is authorized to alienate land forest plots in state ownership, and grant the right of their possession or permanent use.
