The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill " On Amendments to the Law "On Electric Power Engineering" as a basis on 03.04.2007.
The Bill (Reg. No.0912) extends the list of consumers to be exempt from financial sanctions for overshoot of contractual amounts and power consumption with a number of educational institutions.
However, the Committee members believe that the said list is not exhaustive.
The Committee deems unreasonable to regulate power supply of particular groups of consumers due to the consolidation of market relations in the power industry of the State.
