The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Advisory Council on Informatization was created pursuant to The Verkhovna Rada Resolution № 77/98-ВР of 04.02.98 to assist the Parliament in development of policy in the field of informatization with account of brand-new achievements and technical decisions.
Pursuant to the said Resolution, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine introduces changes to the personnel of the Council by the Committee´s submission.
The Committee scrutinized the submission of academician Mykhailo Zhurovsky, the Chairman of the Advisory Council, who called for replacement of the personnel of the Council in view of required inclusion of the People´s Deputies of the 6th Convocation to its personnel. The Committee resolved to uphold the said motion and forward the relevant submission to Arseniy Yatseniuk, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada.
The Committee members upheld the motions regarding new personnel of the Advisory Council, headed by Mykhailo Zhurovsky, the member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, rector of the National Technical University "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute". The Council will also include the following People´s Deputies of Ukraine: Kateryna Samoyluk, Olexander Doniy, Vitaliy Korzh, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Oleh Shevchuk.
