In view of the appeals of public associations and individual citizens to The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine regarding protection of rights of the investors who suffered losses due to activity of a Group of Construction Companies "Elita-Center", Arseniy Yatseniuk forwarded the Letter to Yulia Tymoshenko, the Prime-Minister of Ukraine, with a proposal to create a relevant Government-Parliamentary Working Group.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also commissioned The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Construction, Urban Development, Housing and Communal Services and Regional Policy (headed by Volodymyr Rybak) to designate the People´s Deputies of Ukraine who can participate in the activity of a Joint Government-Parliamentary Working Group and introduce proposals regarding enhancement of legislation to prevent similar incidents in future.
