The Agreement (Reg. No. 0005) stipulates that each Contractual Party is to create at its territory a special regime for the foreign investors of other Contractual Party, which is to be equal and as favourable as the one rendered for investments and profits of investors of national country of any other country.
The Agreement consolidates safeguards against illegal expropriation and nationalization, stipulates free transfer of payments and regulation of conflicts between investors of the Contractual Parties and between the Contractual Parties by means of negotiations and under internationally recognized procedures.
