A two-day working visit of Arseniy Yatseniuk, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, to Brussels (the Kingdom of Belgium) starts on Tuesday, 26 February.
A.Yatseniuk will meet Hans-Gert Pöttering, the President of the European Parliament; Joseph Daul, the Leader of the European People´s Party Faction in the European Parliament; Jacek Saryusz-Wolski, the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations of the European Parliament; Marek Siwiec, the Vice-President of the European Parliament; other officials of the European institutions.
A.Yatseniuk, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, will attend the 10th meeting of the Joint Committee on Parliamentary Cooperation Ukraine-EU, hold talks with Herman Van Rompuy, the Chairman of the Chamber of Representatives of the Belgian Parliament, hold a discussion with Andris Piebalgs, EU Commissar on Energy Issues, regarding Ukraine´s cooperation with the countries of the European Union in the field of energy.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will discuss a number of issues regarding Ukraine´s cooperation with the European Union at the meetings with Xavier Solana, Secretary General of the EU Council and EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy; and Benita Ferrero-Waldner, the European Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighborhood Policy.
