The Bill (Reg. No.2128) introduces amendments to Article 13 of the Law "On Remuneration of Labour" (valid till January 2008), which stipulate that labour remuneration of employees of budget-financed institutions is to be performed in compliance with legislative and other normative acts of Ukraine; general, sectoral and regional agreements; and collective agreements within the scope of budget funding level and other off-budget receipts, not on the grounds of the acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, as it was envisaged for Year 2008.
Introduced amendments will facilitate restoration of collective and contractual regulation of social and labour relations. Moreover, they will render a possibility to raise the salary of employees of budget-financed institutions.
