Greeting the guests, I.Sharov, Committee Chairman, stated that Ukraine was one of the first countries to ratify the Charter. However, ratification failed to result in positive changes. Moreover, it caused a number of urgent judicial, political and economic problems.
In their turn, the experts expressed their satisfaction with Ukraine´s positive attitude to the Charter. Foreign experts were impressed with the complex approach to the realization of the Charter at such an early stage.
The People´s Deputies wished a resultative visit to the experts of the European Council.
