The Bill (Reg. No.2232) introduces amendments to the Law "On the Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons", the Criminal Code and the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements concerning migration. The said amendments improve legal regulation of entry of foreigners and stateless persons to the territory of Ukraine. The Bill also classifies and extends the list of possible grounds for prohibiting such entry. The Bill enhances criminal and administrative liability for violation of migration legislation, especially in the field of illegal migration.
However, the Committee introduced several remarks concerning editing of the Bill, elimination of minor inaccuracies, and compliance with effective legislation.
