The Committee on Public Health recommends that the Parliament adopts in its Entirety the Resolution "On setting up an Ad Hoc Interim Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in charge of HIV/AIDS Issues, Tuberculosis and Drug Addiction"

The Draft Resolution (Reg. No.2483) envisages setting up a Panel to elaborate and enhance legislative acts appertaining to regulation of HIV/AIDS issues, tuberculosis and drug addiction. The Panel is to study and bring forward the State programs on prevention of the said diseases and the growth of illegal turnover of drugs, psychotropic agents and precursors.

The Panel is to maintain relations with the parliaments and relevant international organizations in order to analyze and exploit experience of other countries appertaining to prevention of HIV/AIDS epidemic, and circulation of drugs, psychotropic agents and precursors.
