The Parties discussed the state of Ukrainian economy, the problems of Ukrainian manufacturers and entrepreneurs, and Ukraine´s prospects due to accession to the WTO.
Natalia Korolevska stated that the Parliament commissioned the Cabinet of Ministers to ratify the action plan concerning adaptation of Ukrainian economy to the WTO requirements.
Ien Boug stated that while an Agreement on Free Trade Zone between Ukraine and the EU will be elaborated, attention will be paid not only to the customs tariffs, but also to economic competition, State benefits for business entities, protection of intellectual property rights, and issues of State purchases.
The Parties came to an agreement about further cooperation.
