The Bill (Reg. No.1463) extends use of payment and credit cards, and establishes non-cash payments in the field of trade and services.
The Bill introduces amendments to the Law "On Payment Systems and Transfer of Funds in Ukraine" that define conditions, under which enterprises in the field of trade and services should accept non-cash payment for goods and services in the form of payment cards. The Bill envisages State support to the extension of non-cash payments and supervision over their introduction. The Bill also defines mechanisms for securing citizens´ rights for use of special payment means, and for protection of citizens in non-standard situations.
To secure citizens´ rights for safe use of payment means, the Bill specifies cooperation between an issuer and a holder in case of their loss, theft or unauthorized use.
