The Bill (Reg. No.2157) was submitted by the President of Ukraine, and qualified as an urgent and subject for immediate parliamentary consideration.
The Bill supplements Part 1 of Article 73 of the Code that defines holidays and non-working days with 1 day, namely, 22 January - Ukraine's Reunion Day, and excludes 2 May the International Day of Workers´ Solidarity, from the list of non-working days.
The People´s Deputies believe that adoption of such decisions should be coordinated with the public needs.
