The Committee on Science and Education recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis the Bill on Amendments and Supplements to Article 61 of the Law "On Education" and to Article 64 of the Law "On Higher Education" (re Terms of Tuition Fee)

The Bill (Reg. No.2162) cancels a current regulation of the Law regarding inalterability of the tuition fee within the whole period of studies, since "it fails to agree with the current conditions of funding of the higher education of Ukraine".

The tuition fee established by higher educational establishments is to be coordinated with the growth of cost of utility services, the rate of minimal wages and inflation coefficient.
