The meeting was attended by the People´s Deputies; the representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine; the State governors of financial services markets; the representatives of the State Tax Administration of Ukraine, international financial institutions, and public associations; market participants, experts and scientists.
The attendants discussed Government´s policy in the field of taxation of financial institutions and operations with financial assets; influence of fiscal constituent on the stability of activity of financial institutions; development of financial sector, and taxation tools.
The participants of the conference deem necessary to reform the system of taxation of non-bank financial institutions in order to create a reliable and transparent market of financial services.
The reporters called for gradual introduction of the comprehensive taxation system.
The attendants of the conference also intend to discuss taxation of banking institutions and bank operations, including mortgage lending and operations with securities, and taxation of insurance companies, and non-bank financial institutions.
