The Bill (Reg. No.2285) amends the authorities of the administrative council and executive directorate of the Individuals´ Deposits Guarantee Fund. Thus, the Bill raises the rate of initial fee from 1 per cent of the bank´s registered authorized capital to 2 per cent, and raises the regular fee to be paid by participating banks biannually - from 0, 25 per cent of the total deposits, including accumulated interest.
However, the Bill fails to contain transitional regulations, and does not define mechanisms for coordinating activity of the relevant economic entities in compliance with legal requirements.
