News 2 - The Committee on the Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and the Disabled recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis the Bill on Amendments to Article 63 of the Law "On Provision of Pensions to the Persons dismissed from the Military Service, and to other Persons" (re State Safeguards) - Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

The Committee on the Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and the Disabled recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis the Bill on Amendments to Article 63 of the Law "On Provision of Pensions to the Persons dismissed from the Military Service, and to other Persons" (re State Safeguards)

Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No.1390), the rates of pensions of the military servicemen dismissed from military service that were recalculated due to the changes of the rate of any financial support or due to the establishment of new monthly extra types of financial support, can not be lower than earlier established rates.

However, the Committee members believe that the motion concerning recalculation of pensions by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine due to the normative and legal acts that altered the rates of financial support within Year 2007 is not justified.
