Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, sent a telegram of condolence to Wu Bangguo, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Pan-National Congress of the People's Representatives of the People´s Republic of China, regarding numerous victims of an earthquake in Sichuan province.

The text of the telegram:

"Ukrainian parliament members received with deep sorrow the news concerning numerous human victims of an earthquake in Sichuan province.

Please offer my condolences to the relatives of the dead".
