The Ministry of Education and Science and Ukrainian Centre for Educational Quality Assessment conducted organizational work concerning holding of independent external assessment of knowledge of school-leavers and entrants to the higher educational establishments. Thus they informed the public about the form, essence and procedure of external testing; prepared the testing centres; conducted training of the instructors in charge of holding independent external assessment.
The Committee members deem necessary to define liability for violation of independent external assessment procedures, and disclosure of test assignments.
The Committee on Science and Education resolved to set up a working group to regulate the procedure of independent educational quality assessment, after the relevant Bills of the Cabinet of Ministers will be brought before Parliament.
