The Bill (Reg. No.2469) was drafted due to the fact that pursuant to the Law "On the State Budget of Ukraine for Year 2008 and Amendments to several Legislative Acts of Ukraine", the period of validity of special taxation policy concerning agricultural producers was extended only to 1 January of a year that follows the year in which The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will ratify the Protocol on Ukraine´s accession to the WTO. The Protocol on Ukraine´s accession to the WTO was ratified on 10 April 2008; therefore it is necessary to coordinate the methods of boosting agro-industrial complex development with the requirements of the WTO.
