First Deputy Chairperson of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii takes part in festivities dedicated to Day of Unification and Freedom of Ukraine

On the Day of Unification of Ukraine First Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii took part in the ceremony of laying flowers to the monuments to Taras Shevchenko and Mykhailo Hrushevskyi.

The Day of Unification of Ukraine is celebrated on the day of the proclamation in 1919 of the Act of Unification of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic - on January 22.
