The amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine touching justice will make the judicial reform inevitable in Ukraine.
Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman said this in his opening speech at the plenary meeting on Thursday.
"I believe that everyone is aware of a long-awaited need for changes in the judicial system, and exactly these constitutional amendments will make the process inevitable," he said.
Groysman said that on Thursday, the Verkhovna Rada will consider the amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine touching justice. In particular, the draft amendments envision re-authorizing of the Verkhovna Rada to impeach credibility of prosecutor general of Ukraine.
Besides, the Thursday agenda of the plenary meeting envisions consideration of a number of humanitarian and cultural issues, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said.
