Dear compatriots,
today we are marking the Day of Dignity and Freedom.
The Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity have united free citizens - true patriots of Ukraine - around democratic values. The criminal regime failed to withstand before the fortitude and aspiration of freedom shown by Ukrainians during these dramatic and extremely important events.
This day is a symbol of struggle and victory, a symbol of unity for the sake of highest ideals of the civilized world.
I am expressing my deep honor to those who paid their lives for our freedom.
I wish all Ukrainians to have your sense of dignity always with you as a reliable pledge of freedom and justice in our society.
