Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman calls on the leaders of deputy factions and groups, the deputy corps to work constructively
Opening the Monday meeting of the Conciliatory Council, Groysman noted that on Tuesday, the deputies would have to consider the issue of social protection of anti-terror operation participants; on Thursday — a set of draft laws required to implement the EU Visa Liberalization Action Plan for Ukraine and on gas market.
"I'd like to call on everyone to work constructively as these issues are the basis for the social protection, visa-free regime, many other issues important for Ukraine today," he said.
Groysman noted that all the deputies have to find strength "to unite when it is about important issues." "I call on everybody to use a roundtable format to hold discussions and work on other important issues despite party affiliation," he said.
The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada also informed that a participant of the Conciliatory Council meeting was Chair of the European Parliament's Needs Assessment Mission Pat Cox, who "along with us works on elaboration of approaches to reform our Parliament using the best European experience."
