To residents of the city of Uzhhorod

Dear friends,

I sincerely congratulate you on the City Day.

Uzhhorod is the "western gate" of our state, a crossroad of cultures, legends and modern era. This is a city with a thousand-year bright and heroic destiny, which managed to save Ukrainian spirit and incredible atmosphere despite all external efforts to ruin it.

At present, Uzhhorod is a city of strategic importance for Ukraine. It is an economic and cultural center of Zakarpattia region.

Dear and talented residents of this beautiful city, I sincerely wish you peace, welfare, inspiration and prosperity!
