On Friday, May 29, the VI session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Sejm and the Senate of the Republic of Poland and the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania ended in Vilnius (Lithuania).
Members of the Assembly discussed the topic entitled "Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine. Issues we are facing could and have to be jointly considered and worked on."
The meeting participants noted that the conflict in the east of Ukraine is not an internal business of only Ukraine, but the conflict between the Russian Federation and the West.
As a result of the session, its participants approved respective Declaration.
As earlier reported, the Ukrainian parliamentary delegation headed by Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman was staying in the Republic of Lithuania (Vilnius) in order to take part in the VI session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Sejm and the Senate of the Republic of Poland and the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
