The Verkhovna Rada Committee for Combating Corruption has ruled that the draft law No. 1800 on pawnshops and pawnshop activity is not in line with requirements of the anticorruption legislation.
The draft law contains a number of discrepancies within it.
The said discrepancies in opinion of the Committee create opportunities to abuse office during the selection of required size of reserve fund — 15 or 25 percent.
