The Committee Chairperson Liudmyla Denisova claimed a norm on paying 85% of a salary to working pensioners and canceling pensions for some pensioners (MPs, deputies, judges, prosecutors, and state officials) will be valid from April 1, 2015 until January 1, 2016.
"Restrictions on pension payments will not be applied to people with disabilities of I-II categories, children of war, combatants, and children of the deceased regardless of their positions", stressed Liudmyla Denisova.
In her words, if a person resigns, they will again receive the full pension.
The Committee suggests paying 85% but not less that UAH 1423,5.
The Committee members took into account an amendment submitted by the Committee on National Security and Defence. Therefore, the pensions will not be restricted for military men, junior and senior officers, workers of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Secretariat of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, State Special Transport Service, Security Service of Ukraine, Foreign Intelligence Service, State Border Service, Department of the State Guard, State Penitentiary Service, State Emergency Service of Ukraine, State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection, National Guard of Ukraine and bodies of military prosecutor's office, until the end of the anti-terrorist operation.
