On February 18, in the Committee on European Integration chaired by Iryna Herashchenko, a meeting dedicated to preparation to the Inaugural meeting of the PAC, which shall be held on February 24-25, 2105, in Brussels, was convened.
The meeting was attended by MPs of Ukraine - members of the Ukrainian Party of PAC, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, and Ministry of Justice.
Representatives of the ministries informed members of the Ukrainian delegation about topical issues of the EU-Ukraine relations agenda, execution of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, measures aimed at overcoming corruption in Ukraine, visa free dialogue between Ukraine and the EU, and economic situation in Ukraine.
Leadership of the Ukrainian Party was elected during the meeting: Ostap Semerak - Co-Chairperson of the PAC, Iryna Herashchenko - First Deputy Co-Chairperson of the PAC, and Viktor Halasiuk - Deputy Co-Chairperson of the PAC.
Participants of the meeting also discussed agenda of the Inaugural meeting of the PAC, draft rules of procedure of the PAC, Provisions on its Ukrainian Party, and draft of the Final document which will be adopted following the results of the Inaugural meeting of the PAC in Brussels.
