The bill (Reg. No. 1816) aims to introduce adequate responsibility for violations in the sphere of waste management and improvement of areas.

The bill suggests introducing new terms into the Law “On Waste” and bringing the Water, Land and Forest Codes, as well as the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements and several laws in line with these terms.

Committee members believe that adoption of the bill will bear positive socio-economic consequences for waste managements and improvement of areas; will increase responsibility, and, as a result, decrease violations in this sphere.
