On the Day of honoring combatants in the territories of other states, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk participated in the flower-laying ceremony to Memorial Complex Ukrainian citizens killed in Afghanistan.
The ceremony was also attended by Chairperson of Kyiv City State Administration Vitalii Klychko, MPs, members of the Government and public representatives.
All the present commemorated the deceased with a minute of silence. Ukrainian anthem was played and the funeral salute was fired.
