The Concept of reforming the system of state registration of property
rights to immovable property was elaborated with a view to refine the
applicable system of state registration of rights, and introduction of
mechanisms that would allow minimize corruption risks in the respective
sphere. It was stressed that efficient implementation of inner control over the activity of registrators should be one of the top priority functions of registration service.
According to P.Petrenko, reforming of the system in this direction will no doubt speed up development of the property market, improve investment climate, and increase trust in the system of registration.
