The bill was considered at February 11 Committee meeting involving representatives from the Ministry of Infrastructure and "Ukrzaliznytsia".
The bill (Reg. No. 1528) suggests an opportunity of free transfer of bridges, overpasses and other artificial structures of transport infrastructure from state to communal property.
A representative of "Ukrzaliznytsia" informed that 103 overpasses are on the balance of Ukrainian railways, and they are not involved in the technological process of railways but are an integral part of transport infrastructure of cities and other settlements.
The Committee members upheld the draft law, adoption of which will improve the system of operating bridges and overpasses, unite transport infrastructure of cities and other settlements in a single complex.
