Chairperson of the Committee Oleksandr Danchenko reported on the bills on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re protection of interests of the state and consumers of telecommunications services, and refinement of state management in the sphere of radio frequency resource use (Reg. No. 1888) and on amendments to several laws of Ukraine re development of postal service sphere (Reg. No. 1860). Committee members took into consideration the given information and unanimously voted for addressing the Cabinet of Ministers with a request to provide their opinion on the draft Laws.
MPs discussed and upheld the draft law on licensing certain types of economic activity (Reg. No. 0934) and agreed to uphold proposals of Administration of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection as well as the National Commission exercising state regulation in the sphere of connections and informatization. The respective letter shall be referred to the specializing Committee on Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship, requesting to include the suggested proposals to the comparison table.
Oleksandr Danchenko reported on the address to the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection regarding budgetary allocations for the construction (purchase) of dwelling for rank and file and commanding officers of the Service.
The Committee has also considered and adopted the respective decisions on the results of the meeting with specializing NGOs and on Committee’s open meeting with participation of developers of the soft serve product and representatives of IT sphere, etc.
