The bill (Reg. No. 1354-1) suggests
using positive experience of financing culture, medicine and sport at the expense
of deductions from holding lotteries of other countries in Ukraine, i.e.,
stipulate for increasing the amount of deductions from holding state lotteries
and directing them to support culture (particularly, cinematography), medicine
and sports. Committee members expressed several remarks and suggestions to the bill. However, they stressed that “it is extremely important to initiate the process of refining regulation of lottery sector today, and do everything possible to direct the respective deductions for the development of culture.”
